Marching Band​

The 2020 edition of the Corner High School Yellow Jacket Marching Band.

The Yellow Jacket Marching Band is made up of students from Corner High School who play wind or percussion instruments or participate on Color Guard or Dance Team.  This featured group performs at home and away football games, parades and community events, and at competitions across the Southeast.

Concert Band

The Concert Band is made up of students from Corner High School who play wind and percussion instruments.  This ensemble performs a Christmas Concert, Spring Pops Concert, and at state Music Performance Assessment.

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is a new ensemble consisting of instruments in a traditional "Big Band" setup.  This is normally Saxophones, Trumpets, Trombones, and a Rhythm Section (percussion, guitars, piano).  However, students of any instrument may participate!  The Jazz Band will various styles of jazz, as well as how to improvise, and they will perform at an assortment of venues.

Pep Band

​The Pep Band plays at select home basketball games during the winter.  This group has a ton of fun, plays new popular music, and always makes a lot of noise!  Pep Band is open to any band students that want to participate; we will have a few after school practices to prepare.
