Mrs. Debra Saunders Director of Bands Corner Middle School
Mrs. Debra Saunders has been the Director of Bands at Corner Middle School since 2016. Before arriving at Corner, she taught general music in Muscle Shoals. Mrs. Saunders received her Bachelor of Science in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Alabama, where she served as one of the Drum Majors of the Million Dollar Band.
Mrs. Saunders is married to Daniel Saunders, and they are the proud parents of two precious daughters, Larkin and Lily.
Mr. Adam Murphy Director of Bands Corner High School
Mr. Adam Murphy has been the Director of Bands at Corner High School since 2020. He previously served as Assistant Director of Bands at Huntingdon College for 9 years, as well as on the Music Department Faculty. A native of Cleveland, TN, he received his Bachelor of Music Education from Samford University and his Master of Education from Troy University.
Mr. Murphy is happily married to his wife Tiffany and loves being the father of his three beautiful children, Pierce, Hallie and Max.
